Monet's Garden

The celebration that prompted this trip was Gwen's 10th Birthday. In third grade, she learned all about Monet's paintings, and his beautiful house and gardens in Giverny, France. As it turns out, one of her best friends, Charlotte, was also planning to be in France with her family this summer. Since both the girls are fans of Monet, and since they both have birthdays in August, we decided to meet up in Giverny for the girls' birthdays. We had a wonderful time in the gardens, and it was great to see our friends.
