The Alton Beer Festival

We usually take the Chunnel when traveling between the UK and France, but this time we took the ferry. It was about triple the time, but much more pleasant. Plus, it was cheaper. Alton is just south of where we used to live in Farnham, so we were able to see a few friends, but the trip was was too short! The area is the "hop capital" of the UK, so if the locals needed another reason to be proud of their beers, they've got it.
